Share your world 2014 – week 41

Would you rather take pictures or be in pictures?

Definitely take. Especially since I’ve had so many dental problems in the past year. I am super self conscious about my teeth and only do an awkward close mouthed smile now when someone insists on a photo.

What did you most enjoy doing this past week?

Reading “Because of Winn Dixie” with Son. It was a book he was assigned in school but we genuinely enjoyed the story together.

What is your greatest extravagance?

Audiobooks.  They are so expensive!  I’ve found the cheapest way to get them is to upgrade Kindle books I already own with the audio. So that way it’s only about $12 or so for the audio but I suppose I should add in the original expense of the book still, so it’s actually about $19-$22 on average buying them that way which still beats the Audible prices which tend to be around $39.95 if you’re lucky!!

Which letter of the alphabet describes you best?

M. It stands for Maria, Mom and Me.. which are basically the 3 names I am most addressed by. Of course, Me is the name I call myself… and Fa is a long long way to run.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

From last week: A surprise family get together.  My father in law and his wife were in town unexpectedly.  They texted on Saturday saying that they were in Boston which is quite close to us, then they visited our church Sunday morning and took us to Smokey Bones for lunch after the service.

In the upcoming week… There is a costume party the whole family is invited to and we are going!
